杭州西湖博物馆总馆副馆长夏攀：我们提出西湖西进，在湖西重新恢复了0. 9平方公里的水域，一共是四片水域。茅家埠这片水域是西湖综合保护工程当中的一个很重要的成果。很多地方又重新恢复了历史上所存在的一些人文景点，有100多处。综合保护工程很能够体现西湖一以贯之的还湖于民的思路，让老百姓能够感受它、亲近它、欣赏它。
