张力表示，2023年1月以来，英国赴华游客数量快速恢复。2023年英国赴华游客23.48万人次。今年上半年，英国赴华游客已经超过40万人次。中英直飞航班数量快速增长，共有10家航司运营中英航线，包括中国国际航空、南方航空、海南航空、东方航空、天津航空等8家中国航司，以及英国航空和维珍航空两家外国航司。

谈及此次中国代表团参加伦敦世界旅游交易会，张力表示，中国展区总面积为210平方米，位于亚洲馆的入口处，是新冠疫情后国内组团参展人数最多、展区总面积最大的一次。在参展阵容上，既有首都北京，有经济金融中心上海，也有陕西、河南等文化旅游资源强省，还有新疆、广西等以少数民族文化为特色的地区，很具有代表性。
