10月1日，澎湃新闻（www.thepaper.cn）从自然资源部获悉，超强台风“山陀儿”正位于我国南海东北部海面，海浪实况显示，受其影响，截至14时，距离台风中心较近的南海东北部浮标，今天持续测得6米以上的狂浪到狂涛，上午10点30分观测到最大有效波高9.8米的狂涛；同时，台湾海峡出现了4到6米的巨浪到狂浪，福建中南部沿海出现了2.8到3.4米大浪。

海浪方面，预计10月1日夜间到10月2日白天，巴士海峡、南海东北部将出现8到12米的狂浪到狂涛区，东海南部、钓鱼岛附近海域、台湾海峡、台湾以东洋面将出现5到8米的巨浪到狂浪区，近海海域海浪预警级别为橙色；浙江南部、福建近岸海域将出现3到5.5米的大浪到巨浪，该近岸海域海浪预警级别为橙色，浙江北部近岸海域将出现2.5到3.5米的大浪，该近岸海域海浪预警级别为黄色，上海、广东东部近岸海域将出现2到3.4米的中浪到大浪，该近岸海域海浪预警级别为蓝色。
